We started our Day 2 morning with a hearty breakfast treat from our tour guide before proceeding to the world's 2nd largest hanging bridge called the "天空之桥". According to the guide, this is one of the newest attraction in the area and thus, there were alot of tour buses when we arrived!
The weather was extremely sunny but at one point, it was drizzling too.. There were a lot of roadside stalls selling a varieties of local food, snacks, drinks and other things such as umbrellas, sun shade etc. We got to try some of their snacks and food and drinks too. The Pineapple drink was so yummy that I kept pestering Mummy for a slip..

After 天空之桥 was lunch. Our tour guide brought us to this shop that specialise in Turkey meat rice. At first we thought why Turkey?!? As most of our impression we had about Turkey is that the meat is tough and that we only eat them during Christmas Dinners! But after the lunch, we have totally changed our perception! The lunch was fabulous! Meat was tender and rice was tasty. Most importantly, each bowl of turkey meat rice cost only NT30.. which is about S$1.30!
Ater lunch, our next destination for the day is Alishan (阿里山). This was a last minute decision made last night after discussion with our tour guide as we skipped Hualien. Our initial plan was to spend 2 days in Hualien but now that it is not possible, our guide actually suggested that we go tour Alishan! It was a long journey to Alishan and on our way, we visited a few places too..

On our way up to Alishan, we dropped by this beautiful place called 奋起湖。This place used to be a train station or depot that is now no longer in service. Surrounding the depot/station are some shophouses and eatery stalls selling all kinds of snacks and bento boxes.
We finally reached our hotel - 樱山大饭店 in Alishan at about 6.30pm.. The sky has already turned dark as we are in forest area and the weather was freezing cold. We had a quick tour around the area and took some photos before heading to the restaurant called for our hotpot dinner.
Mummy did not take any photos of our hotel room as she was freezing and totally forgotten about taking photos. We had to have an early night as we will be up at 3.00am in the morning to catch the morning sunrise in Alishan!!
Highlights for Day 3: Sunrise in Alishan, Alishan Forest Walk, 廬山Hotspring
