A Play by Eric Carle

Last week, Mummy volunteered at the APSN Katong School and had half a day of activities with the students of APSN Katong through the English Learning Journey. They brought the students to Fusionopolis to watch a play by Eric Carle - " A Brown Bear, A Moon and A Caterpillar". After watching the play, Mummy thought it would be a good idea to bring me to watch it too since the play is suitable for children aged 3 to 6. After talking to Papa about this, Mummy booked the tickets for the last show on the last day and we went to watch it directly after checking out from the hotel.

Day 2 at ParkRoyal

After a hearty breakfast at Cafe Brasserie, we went on for an hour long of fun time playing at the pool! Mummy requested for late check-out so that I could catch some nap before our last activity at Fusionopolis - to watch the show "A Brown Bear, A Moon and A Caterpillar"!

Our 1 night at ParkRoyal (Beach Road)

After brunch at Hatched, we went over to ParkRoyal to check into the hotel. We reached at about 2.30pm and was informed that the room isn't ready yet. We waited for a while at the lobby and the front desk manager actually upgraded us to a premiere deluxe room. Wow, we were more than happy to be upgraded coz it means that we will have a King size bed! The hotel also presented us with a $20 voucher for use at the Si Chuan Dou Hua restaurant. Mummy and Papa was quick to decide that our dinner for tonight will be at the restaurant!

Posing at the big bed!
After settling down, we took a nap as Mummy was concerned that I will be restless later on since I woke up very early in the morning. After the nap, we went for a quick swim  then headed down to Marina Bay for Fireworks display before going back to the hotel for our dinner.

All geared up and ready for action

Nice Self-taken family shot!

I was famished by the time we got back to the hotel restaurant!
Had 1.5 bowl of rice that night and Mummy was horrified with the amount of food I am eating!!

At Hatched

The last time Papa and Mummy went without me (coz I was at Godma's house). Today, Papa and Mummy decided to bring me here for late brunch as promised. Was so excited about this weekend that I could not sleep last night! We will be staying at ParkRoyal tonight as Mummy had a complimentary room to be utilised by August.

Watching NDP Fireworks

We had a mini picnic at the Marina Bay Financial Centre and watched this year's National Day Parade Fireworks. This is our second visit here. We came last week too but did not have any picnic as we ate our dinner at Lau Pat Sat. Mummy says we will be coming here weekly till the NDP Preview which is on Aug 4 so that we can get to enjoy the fireworks and play around with Risa jiejie and Rishon Korkor.

Rhian was feeling tired that day..

See the amount of food we brought?
Mummy was in charge of snacks and bites while Grandaunt Rachel cooked the bee hoon.

We will be back next week!

New School: Just Kids @Jurong East

Today I attended a new school! The school name is called Just Kids @Jurong East. Mummy told me that this will be my new school for my Nursery 2 class going forward. Not too sure why Mummy changed my school from PCF Little Wings to Just Kids though.. Anyway, the new school is much closer to where we stay and Papa need not drive me to school daily now. We just need to walk over and the school is probably just 1-2mins away.

Love the new school as it is fully air-conditioned and they have an indoor playground too. We attended their Open House last week and was given a free set of uniform and jumper suit upon registration. I was also given a school bag and some goodies bag!

Though today is my first day at the new school, both Mummy and the teachers all commented that I did very well and blend in very well with the existing class and even made new friends within half a day. All my classmates are very friendly and all are excited about me joining their class. My new friends even showed me the way to the toilet! They were all very friendly.

Teacher Thomas was quick to put up my photos on the classroom wall!

I really like my new school but at the same time, I missed the friends and teachers at Little Wings.. especially my buddies like Lucas, Weizhe, Zikun, Teacher Regina, Teacher Mayuri and 罗老师!Mummy said she will bring me to visit Little Wings if we have the time to drop by.
